With an intimate capacity of 6,500 and this amazing lineup, 2010 is not to be missed!

As always, the Hoxeyville site will include a Disc Golf Course designed by Stephanai Myers of Disc Golf Michigan. The site is also strategically located near various mountain biking trails and the Pine River, a National Wild and Scenic River, World Class blue-ribbon trout stream, and a renowned paddle sports playground. Kestelwoods restaurant, party store and campground is a convenient 5 minute walk from the festival grounds.

On the first weekend of every August, Dunegrass finds its home near the Village of Empire, just a few miles from the shore of Lake Michigan and the wooded hills of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore. The Festival showcases a collection of local, regional and national artists from multiple genres, arranging them on two adjacent stages for a continuous river of music. New Music by Robert Coates of EN2

Robert is an eclectic musician who has
performed extensively in the United
States with a variety of groups including
the reggae band Better Chemistry,
house-funk fusion trio EN2, international
recording artist Andrew Paul Woodworth,
Rob Dixon and Treology, Cathy Morris,
the Twin Cats, MAB and others - ranging
from rock, jazz, funk, trance, hip hop
and spoken word, classical, avant garde,
experimental, and contemporary improvisation.
Robert has opened for acts
such as UB40, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe,
Lukas Nelson, Snake Oil Medicine
Show, Garaj Mahal, Yonder Mountain
String Band, Pato Banton, Ekoostik
Hookah, and the Marshall Tucker Band,
with performance credits at venues such
as the House of Blues (Anaheim), The
Independent (San Francisco), Headliner's
(Louisville), and the late CBGB's
(NYC).
Robert holds a Master of Music from the
University of Michigan and is a doctoral
candidate in the Studio/Jazz Guitar
Dept. at the University of Southern
California.
